I am running the Berlin Marathon - my longest run ever - on 30 September, along with family and friends.
I normally find it bloody annoying when people try to raise money for all sorts of wonderful adventures that I would love to do myself, but hey, I am a bloody annoying person, too, so please sponsor me and support a good cause.
Through my research I have developed a pretty good understanding of the dirty world of NGOs. Given the lack of formal accountability structures in place, a lot of them actually do more harm than they do good. However, I believe that MSF stands out as a very worthwhile organisation, which I fully support.
