Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you will all know,my 11 year old daughter Bethany suffers from the life theatening illness CYSTIC FIBROSIS.
Last year Laura posed in a calendar,so this year i thought i would jump out of a plane!!!
I have joined a team of CF supporters, as well as young people who have Cystic Fibrosis themselves, to do a Tandem Skydive in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to take place on Saturday 22nd May 2010 from Langar Airfield in Nottingham - the bigger the Team the more monies we will raise for the Charity.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the UK’s most common life-threatening inherited disease
Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick, sticky mucus. This makes it hard to breathe and digest food.
Average life expectancy is around 31 years and, although improvements in treatments mean a baby born today could expect to live longer, there is no cure for CF and lung transplantation is often the only option. Most individuals with cystic fibrosis die young, many in their 20s and 30s from lung failure.
Each week, 3 YOUNG LIVES are lost to Cystic Fibrosis.
Bethany & all the other sufferers deserve a longer future.
Please dig deep and help us raise lots of ££££`s to find a much needed cure
