I'm running the 2009 Flora London Marathon on the 26th April to raise money for mental health charity Cam-Mind and I would really appreciate any donations of support. I'm hoping to complete the Marathon in under 4 hours.
It is estimated that 1 in 4 people will suffer with some sort of mental health condition at some point in their life. There are a wide range of support networks available throughout the UK, which are only too willing to offer their time and support.
Mental illness can be caused by a vast quantity of reasons, from financial problems to bereavement to lack of self-esteem. Whatever the cause, people suffering from mental illness may become isolated from their friends and family and may feel unable to cope with everyday life.
