I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year to raise money for Cancer research UK. From working in scientific research I know first hand of how much projects are quite reliant on public funding. 

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into treating cancers. There are many effective cancer drug treatments out there however more research needs to be done on enhancing the delivery of current drugs to cancer sites.
