Changing Faces is the UK’s leading charity for everyone with a scar, mark or condition on their face or body.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, which I have set to help you donate to my chosen charity, Changing Faces, who I am running for in the 2010 London marathon.

As some of you will know my sister Abbie was born with birthmarks and has a condition called Sturge Weber Syndrome. This charity, Changing Faces, helps many people who have disfigurements to their face by providing them with support in education and work, while also campaigning for a social change. Changing Faces have helped Abbie and so I feel that this is a very worthwhile cause.

I have always been a keen runner and so being able to run for this charity, especially in such an amazing event as the London marathon, is something that I feel very privileged to do.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now!
