Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge · 7 May 2008

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

On 28th June my cousin Hannah and I will be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society in memory of our Grandad, Harry.

Details of what we will be doing are on the website below - we will walk approx 25 miles up and down some hills within the 12 hours permitted... easy!*

*this is a brave lie - I will struggle.

If you can spare any sponsorship money for the Alzheimer's Society it will be hugely appreciated. Any money donated will go towards the care of people with dementia and research into the treatment and prevention of dementia and related diseases. The Alzheimer's Society is a relatively new charity, and with funding can make a lot of progress.
