Dear All,

Lotte and I are visiting her "Fatherland" to run the Copenhagen Marathon on the 24th May 2009.

We are flying into Denmark late Friday night and coming back on Sunday night straight after the Marathon (Rookie mistake I feel ...).

We are funding the trip entirely ourselves (flights / accommodation etc) and would like to raise a bit of money for two charities close to our hearts.

The two charities are Bassetlaw Hospice and Macmillan Cancer.

The Bassetlaw Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support for the Bassetlaw Community.  It exists to enable patients with progressive life limiting diseases and their carers to achieve the best quality of life.

Macmillan Cancer is a world renowned charity and touches many people lives.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer.

Both these charities - one regional and one national are close to Lotte and I and so we would like to raise as much as we can for these great causes.

Therefore please all dig deep - both big and small amounts count and we can help make these charities even more worth while.
