The Mongolia Rally is a charity event aiming to raise money for UK charities based in Mongolia and help them to deliver their long term goals. Starting in London on the 5th of July, the final destination is the capital of Mongolia, beyond the Gobi desert, Ulanbataar.

We, the ToMaTo team, are taking our 4x4 Isuzu Trooper through the deserts of Mongolia and at the same time raising money for a UK charity operating in Mongolia - Save the Children. The main focus of their work is on long-term development but in 2000 they launched an emergency programme to bring food and other aid to families in crisis during the then harsh winter. Maintaining emergency preparedness is now an ongoing part of their work in Mongolia.

Our magnificent car will also be donated to Children's Development Protection Fund - a charity working in Mongolia - after the completion of this rally.
