Story
Prostate cancer is an illness that has affected those close to me in the past, and continues to do so in the present day. Prostate Cancer UK have undertaken some fantastic work in recent years to increase awareness of the disease, most notably with the partnership with English Football League (EFL) clubs.
As part of this work. three colleagues and I will be taking part in Football to Amsterdam, a two day, 145-mile pedal pilgrimage to the Dutch capital backed by the EFL and the League Managers Association. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. This is simply not acceptable but Prostate Cancer UK know that with your help we can turn it around. Time is against us but now is the time to take action, to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.
