<p>Since returning to England, an old friend introduced me to a very important local charity, <strong>'A Way Out'</strong> (<a href="http://www.awayout.co.uk/">http://www.awayout.co.uk/</a>)<br>They help vulnerable young people in the Teesside area, who are embroiled in situations such as domestic abuse, homelesness, substance mis-use and prostitution. '<strong>A Way Out'</strong> provides education, support and encouragement to lead safe, healthy and positive lives. </p>
<p>I want to help by jumping off the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough (attached to a bungee rope) and asking you, my friends to donate money towards this excellent cause.<br>The jump happens on <strong>February 12th 2012</strong> so if you can, please donate online or in-person! </p>
<p>The bridge was built in 1911 and has featured on TV on shows including 'Billy Elliot', 'The Fast Show' and 'Auf Wiedersehen Pet'. It will be approximately a <strong>150ft drop</strong> and I'm not friendly with heights above 20ft. </p>
