Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2012 · 26 May 2012 ·

The UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, we provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Story

We are running the Edinburgh Marathon relay on Sunday 26 May and raising money for the military charity Combat Stress.

A small, but significant, number of veterans leave the Armed Forces with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

For over 90 years, Combat Stress has been supporting these veterans. Today the charity offers:

- Specialist treatment at three centres in Shropshire, Ayrshire and Surrey

- The Combat Stress helpline providing 24hour support

- An expanding community outreach service and various well-being and rehabilitation programmes supporting those needing help.
