Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Chris Clarke tragically died from a Brain Tumour aged just 18 in Jan 06, I am completing the South Downs 100 mile Off road Bike challenge to raise money to support research into the causes of brain tumours. All monies raised will be used to research into the causes and treatment and hopefully cure of brain tumours in young people. Many Thanks you for your helpful sponsorship. Well we did it - Starting at Winchester and going "Off Road" with the elements out to get us - day 1 was OK but by day 2 it was pouring, I have never been so muddy or wet and ended up carrying the bikes at times!. Despite the appalling and to a degree, dangerous conditions we reached Beachy Head 100 miles later. So after 10 falls ( & no submissions), 12 punctures, 1 failed brakes, 1 buckled front wheel, 1 torn ligament, many saddle sores , bruises galore and muscles aches later, 8 of us, including Sue, Andrew (son) and other close family raised around £10,000 (so far). Thank you very much for your support. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Christopher Clarke Cancer Research Fund will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.
