I  visited Uganda in 2007 as part of a team from St. Saviour's Church, Sunbury, where we worked with Watoto building homes for children orphaned by Aids and the ongoing War in that area. The picture shown is our team actually working on the site outside Kampala.

Watoto is a wonderful charity, giving practical help to the children of, and have been doing so since 1994.  It is about providing sustainable support and infrastructure that not only provide immediate help to the children, but provide a path to enable them to become part of the community for a better future for them, and their country

I am going again in August 2009 with my son Mark; again as part our team from our Church.  By contributing here you are helping fund the work Watoto and the building materials and wages of the local builders who work alongside us.  We expect these costs to be in the order of £1700* for each team member.  Please give generously, and if you are a taxpayer, please don't forget to Gift Aid your donation.
