Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’m 64 and was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in April 2008. Over 40,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year and more than 10,000 a year die from it. Men don't talk about their health problems and two out of three adults don't even know what the prostate gland does. Prostate Cancer UK are a charity raising funds for research and to raise awareness as early diagnosis increases the chances of survival.
I am taking part in the Southport Triathlon and you can help by sponsoring me. All money raised will go to Prostate Cancer UK’s “Sledgehammer” fund to crack Prostate Cancer and raise awareness of the disease.
The Triathlon consists of a 1500 metre open water swim, followed by a 40 kilometre bike ride, followed by a 10 kilometre run … followed by a long hot bath!
