Their network of volunteer healthcare professionals provide care in 64 countries worldwide.&nbsp; D</span>OW UK sends volunteers overseas to help those affected by natural disasters like the <a title="hurricane in Myanmar (Burma)" href="http://www.doctorsoftheworld.org.uk/lib/docs/152431-premergencyinburma-060508.pdf"><strong>hurricane in Myanmar (Burma)</strong></a>. They also help vulnerable people affected by conflict and extreme poverty with programmes like our <strong><a title="emergency response sent to Haiti " href="http://www.doctorsoftheworld.org.uk/resources/news.asp?yy=2010&amp;mm=4&amp;id=1921">emergency response sent to Haiti</a> </strong>and our project to <strong><a title="reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS in Zimbabwe" href="http://www.doctorsoftheworld.org.uk/projectsoverseas/zimbabwe.asp" target="_new">reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS in Zimbabwe</a></strong>. Their offices run healthcare projects across europe, caring for the most vulnerable members of the community who find themselves unable to access the healthcare they need.
