Story
Hi Guys,
On the 7th August 2010 I'll be taking part in the London Triathlon and raising money for the Edinburgh Sick Kids Foundation as I go. Sick Kids aim to provide funding and care for the children who need it most, and helps over 100,000 children suffering from illness and disease every year. By providing a donation you're helping both the children and their families to have an easier life!
Sick Kids isn't one of the major UK charities, and it doesn't recieve the same level of funding as the bigger ones, so please help me to raise money to give these children a better quality of life.
I'll be swimming in the River Thames, cycling the streets of London and then pounding the pavement towards the finish line, as I aim to complete the Triathlon in under 1 hour and 30 minutes. A triathlon is something completely alien to me, I've never done anything like this before. I'm putting the effort in with the training (which hurts, believe me), so please give generously...every penny will go towards helping to make sick children better!
Those of you who know me, know that I'll put 100% into this, and I ask that you do the same too. If you can sacrifice that extra drink on a night out, or that extra sausage roll in Greggs, then your money will be going towards those who need it much more!
So please dig deep, and help out someone who needs it more.
Yours in aching muscles,
Tom Rhimes
