I've never wanted to run a marathon, but when Childline came to our office to tell us about their work it was so compelling that I felt I had to do something to help.

They always need volunteers to answer the phones, but I could never deal with the topics they handle on a regular basis. So, I have taken the easy option, and in April I will be running the London Marathon to raise funds to help them ensure that no call goes unanswered.
