I am running the New York City Marathon on 2nd November 2008. Hard as it may be to believe (!), it will be my fourth marathon and I am hoping to beat my PB of 4hr 10 mins.

I am hoping to raise £5,000 for a Sense, a charity which supports deaf and blind children. It is a really worthwhile charity that really makes a difference to people's lives, enabling severely disadvantaged people to realise their potential and make a real contribution to society.
