Thanks for checking out what I am up to...

I'm running in the London Marathon 2009 (42 kilometres!!!) on 26th April this year.

To gain my place I had to pledge fundraising of GBP1,500.00 so I really hope you will sponsor me. 

As you can see so many lovely people I know have generously supported my efforts and this worthy cause.  So my target has been raised to GBP2,200.00.

I chose the charity HEART UK who raise awareness and support families affected by Inherited High Cholesterol as the date of the marathon will be my Dad's 25th Death Anniversary after a sudden heart attack when he was only 34 years old. 

I'm 35 now so have been thinking of Dad alot when training and reckon he'd be pretty impressed with this effort.
