<p>Hi all,</p> <p>I'm running the Bupa Manchester 10k to raise money for the Churches Conservation Trust, for which I am a volunteer at Holy Trinity in York. Check out the website: <a href="http://www.visitchurches.org.uk/">http://www.visitchurches.org.uk/</a></p> <p>The Trust is a brilliant charity, dedicated to the care of redundant historic churches across the country. Although no longer used for worship, these beautiful buildings embody centuries upon centuries of our local heritage, which we would lose without the efforts of the CCT.</p> <p>Anything you give will be used for the Trust's conservation work and allow us to continue developing projects that keep our churches alive. Our biggest project at the moment is the urgent work needed on the beautiful ceiling of St Nicholas' Chapel in Kings Lynn.</p> <p>I would be chuffed to bits if you would donate pennies or pounds to a cause which is striving to safeguard some of the most ancient and beautiful buildings in England.</p> <p>For anything you can give, THANK YOU! from me, and from everyone at the CCT.</p>
