<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">So why, it’s a good question? To walk a half Marathon everyday for a week in the Sahara?

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Well, every year I watch Children In Need and Comic Relief – of course I give, after crying my eyes out when seeing a child dying or very ill simply for a not having good sanitation or clean water in their village.

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Then I cry even more when we see Lenny Henry or another famous person back to the same village to see the effect on having clean water or access to facilities we take for granted.

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Why is happiness more emotive after seeing such sadness?

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Today one child dies every 20 seconds from diarrhoea caused by unclean water and Sanitation, Because of this fact I am determined to cross the Sahara on foot and raise money to help change this.

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">I will be walking across the Sahara Desert in intense and arid conditions to help support communities that do not have any access to water. Just think - £15 will enable one person's access to clean water and improved hygiene... £200 could buy a locally built rope pump in Mozambique.

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">My aim is to raise £5,000 and I am really pleased you have visited my page, I truly hope you decide to donate and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
