My story
Tony Dobbin, 39, won the Grand National on the New Zealand bred Lord Gyllene in 1997 - a dramatic year - when a bomb scare forced the race to be delayed by two days. Tony, originally from Northern Ireland, won over 1200 races including the Hennessy Gold Cup on the popular grey One Man before retiring in 2008. He is now assistant trainer to his wife, Rose Davidson. 'Dobbs' also won the inaugural John Smith's Aintree Legends Race in 2011.

The Bob Champion Cancer Trust team based within the Trust's laboratories is focused in understanding the detailed molecular basis of the development of prostate cancer. Success of this reserach will ultimately lead to better clinical management of this cancer and to new cancer tests and treatments.
