When Tony was asked if he was excited about the trip he recounted the story of his visit to the doctors to get clearance for the trip, when he was handed a booklet by the doctor on the effects of altitude sickness, joint and muscle pain, the adverse effects on the extremities and something called HACE. He said "I'd never heard of some of this stuff and now I'm worried about ALL my extremities and I daren't Google HACE!!" He continues, "A ship is safe in it's harbour but that's not what ships are for. Yes I am looking forward to the whole experience and it will aid in shortening the list of incurable diseases."
