“Ageing porky runs his last half marathon”

 Thanks for taking the time to come to my Justgiving page. Earlier this year I decided to help some of the primary schools I visited around the war torn town of Gulu in Northern Uganda. Many of them had just returned to their original sites after 18 years of conflict. Their facilities are minimal at present but there is great hope in the smiles of the children and great optimism for the future. One of the ways of helping is to personally attempt the “Great North Run”.

With your help we hope to lift the quality of Palukere Primary School where there are at presents 425 students, 12 staff and only 5 classrooms. The school is in desperate need of a further 2 classrooms to house the 7 streams of education together with desks and chairs.

All monies raised will go to northern Uganda without deduction to carry out the work. Many thanks for your support
