We are the only approved centre and school for children with cerebral palsy in the London region. Our services include parent and child sessions for babies from birth to age 3, a nursery group and school for 5-11 year olds. Through conductive education, we teach children to be as independent as possible by developing their physical, intellectual and social abilities.

The London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy is the operating name of The Peter Rigby Trust (previously known as The Hornsey Trust).

My story

I did it ! This summer I cycled 350 miles over dunes, across a lake and through a Dutch National Park...all the way to Bielefeld in Germany. Keeping fit is important - but my real inspiration were the children at The Hornsey Trust. The charity runs the only specialist centre and school for children with cerebral palsy in the London region.

Cycling is relatively easy for me, yet it takes every ounce of concentration for children here just to learn to stand up on their own. And many can only do this with support.

The good news is that it's not too late to support me ! Here are a few examples of what your sponsorship will help my charity buy. £5: two-handed cup or picture book, £20: one parent and child session, £50: a home visit or switch access computer game, £100: a ladder back chair or new reading scheme.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The Hornsey Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
