Message from Tony Wilson  .....Berlin 28th September 2008

Thank  you to everyone who is supporting this event either by running, coming to Berlin to support and/or sponsoring us through this website. The plan is to celebrate my 50th birthday and raise money for motor neurone disease research at the same time.

MNDA is very close to my heart as a old friend from university Helen Stroud died from the disease in November 2003 after a long and difficult struggle ,leaving a very  young family. She was also one of the brightest and talented lawyers I had ever met and a wonderful warm personality with time for everyone. If possible it is my dream to raise as much money for this charity by taking part in this event. I am also overwhelmed by the number of people who have agreed to run-- many of whom have never run a marathon before...

We have 30 runners (at last count) coming to Berlin to run and another 30 coming to support .. it should be a spectacular week-end..
