Sunday 9th October ... two weeks on and I'm thrilled that I've managed to raise £500, which is amazing, so thank you to everyone who has donated !

I ran all the way and managed a time of 2hrs 11mins, which is not bad considering my goal was 2hrs 10mins and I was full of cold. The atmosphere on the day was amazing, the crowds were so encouraging and I absolutely loved running. I am definitely going to run another half, next year ...

Madly, I set myself the challenge of running a half marathon last year and have been in training for it since February. I have been really struggling with a dodgy hip since May, but I am still determined to run the race and, hopefully, get around in a good time.

I have decided to run for CANCERactive, Britain´s Number 1 holistic cancer information charity. Their aim is to empower people to increase their personal odds of beating cancer. They do this by providing ALL the information, not just on orthodox cancer treatments, but on complementary cancer therapies and some, currently alternative, cancer treatments too.

Every penny that you donate will be going to a great cause ... and it will definitely keep me running, running, running ... so thank you in advance !
