Totally Oarsome! are Fiona Le Maitre-George, Siobhan Hind, Lisa Fleming, Line Ryder-Richardson, Louise Higgins, Amanda Shaw and Caroline Speight. A crew of seven friends undertaking a significant challenge, seriously out of our comfort zone, in order to raise money for the truly inspirational and worthy SE London charity "Ahoy".

Despite having never rowed before, a fear of the open sea and large tankers, an aversion to tight lycra, night terrors about the dark abyss beneath and very soft hands...... we have agreed to row 24miles from Dover to Calais on the 8th of June 2013.

Based in Deptford, this local charity really does make a difference by changing peoples lives through sailing and rowing. By breaking down the usual social barriers, young vulnerable people and those with disabilities can learn new skills, resulting in vastly improved self esteem and personal development.

All money raised goes directly to running courses and keeping the charity going.
