Story

On the Morning of Satuday 26th May I will be setting off from Calais en velo, with an average of over 100 miles a day to ride all the way to the Med. Taking in some great wine country - Champagne, Burgundy and the Rhone Valley - unfortunately I won't be able to drink and ride.

I will be maintaining a blog so you can track my progress at

With all of the runs I've been doing, I keep getting asked "Why aren't you getting sponsored?". Well, I just don't think it's fair to ask for sponsorship for doing my hobby! So a plan started to form, if I was goign to do something for Charity it should be for something a bit more challenging.....Lands End to John O'Groats was the idea for a while untill the epiphany of France - better weather, better wine, and much more chance of getting lost!

Ferry's are booked, training is consisting mainly of running, but a few long bike rides done too. I'm going to be supported on the trip by my Father in Law Cliff, without whom this wouldn't be possible.
