We've been mad enough to sign up for Tough Mudder on April 27th, completely unprepared mentally and physically! As dental students we are all too aware of oral cancer; however, many do not know its incidence is rapidly rising with a 5 year survival rate of less than 50%. We have chosen to support The Ben Walton Trust, a growing charity which was set up in commemoration of Ben Walton who died aged just 22 of oral cancer. The charity works to raise awareness of oral cancer, fund research and encourage appropriate patient care. #mce_temp_url#
