On Friday August the 28th I am going to do a 12 hour long distance sponsored bike ride with a difference, the difference being that I'm not really going to go anywhere!!
The plan is to ride laps and laps and laps of the Inner Ring Road of Cheltenham! I'm going to start at Midday and ride right through till Midnight, stopping only for the odd comfort break! I'm aiming to cover over 200 miles, it is going to be a bit of a mental as well as physical battle!
I am raising money for the renovation of 'FootSteps' the home of the Environmental and Intercultural relations charity Global Footsteps. FootSteps, when fully functioning will be a working example of a sustainable building open to the public. It already has space to hold events and meetings, both its own and ones organised by like minded organisations. When finished it will be a unique and affordable community hub that will benefit everyone. The charity needs to raise £200,000 in total, it has so far raised about half of this, please help me to raise my target of £1000!!
