We are dedicated to life-changing care at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. King’s provides specialist and local health services to over one million people in South-East London and Kent, as well as critical care. Our work makes innovation, as well as world class treatment, possible.

Story

Welcome to The Tour de Sucre Fundraising Page!

On the 26th/27th of October, myself and Tom Beaver, supported by the Sugar Bus, will be burning a month's supply of Sugar in just 24hrs!

We will complete this journey without consuming any food containing refined sugar.

We will cycle 240 miles from West London to North Wales before running the toughest Marathon in Europe, The Snowdonia Marathon. This is how much exercise it will take to burn the 14,000 calories that our School Children are now consuming every month in sugar alone!

The Money will go to refurbishing the Child's Liver transplant ward of King's Hospital in order to reduce the suffering for thousands of children who don't have the option of damaging their livers with excessive sugar. (Excessive Sugar is extremely damaging to Transplanted Liver)

By completing this challenge we will raise awareness about the dangers of high sugar diets, especially to children, and help raise £1,000 for the outstanding work already being done at King's Hospital for these children who do not have the luxury of being able to eat this much sugar.
