Tour du Leman a l'Aviron · 26 June 2008

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

On September 27 (and 28th) 2008, we planned to take about 25,000 strokes for The Stroke Association while rowing all the way round Lake Geneva. Unfortunately, the weather was against us and we "swamped" - in the end, only 5 of the 21 crews who started actually completed the race. We will be back in 2009 to try again. For more information, please visit http://www.rowatlantic.org.uk/Geneva/.

We'd love to raise £10 for each one of those increasingly painful kilometres.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
