Over the course of 24 hours on the 6th/7th of June - we will be attempting to hike up the three highest mountains in Great Britain.
The mountains climbed, in order of elevation, are Ben Nevis in Western Scotland (1344 m), Snowdon in North Wales (1085 m), and Scafell Pike in North-Western England (978 m). In all the challenge involves some 42 km (26 miles) of ascent and descent, with total travel approaching 765 km (around 475 miles). More information can be found on Wikipedia.
Getting up and down the mountains is one challenge - getting between them in the car is another, and we will be supported by Roger Green and Tim Roast who've kindly set aside their time to assist us in this activity.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Arthritis Research Campaign will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
