Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the TR3OC Moped Mafia JustGiving page.

An incredible six day sprint saw the TR3OC NVT Easy Rider complete the Mad Moped Challenge 2011 in aid of Help For Heroes.  The John O’ Groats to Lands End run was lapped up by the Orange Blur with no problems and only routine checks needed at each carefully planned stop.

The ride over 6 days started on the 27th March and ended on 1st April, with the 17 riders split into 6 teams to cover each day. The machine performed so well that one rider even deliberately rode the wrong way simply to prolong the experience!

Along with John Young's rare still shots from the opening scene of the cult 70's film 'On Any Thursday', (Check out photos 1 to 3.) are included a selection of pictures from the run...the F1 like activity at the pitstops something to marvel at.

The Team:

John Young - Owner/Organiser/Motivator, Martin Russell - Race Prep./Rider, Day 1 Riders - Scott Ingram, Martin Rawson, Day 2 - Dave Smith, Paul Hulme, Day 3 - Grant & Ian Tapsell, Peter Nicholson, Angus McLeod, Day 4 - Dave Bloor, Dave Ellis, Sam Milner, Day 5 - Dave Skett, Norman Hyde, Martin Russell, Day 6 - Pete Churchill, Richard Davis, Nicki Davis.
