I am a survivor but my Dad sadly passed in Nov 2013. Cancer touched our family few yrs ago & over last 12 years I with support from family & friends have raised funds for Cancer. This is the first time I have done the race for life though. It was our Daughters idea to do it in memory of my Dad; her Grandad. He is was & always will be, my idol, my hero, my inspiration. Dad supported all the fund raising I have done so know he will be watching over us & be proud of us once more.  

The loss of a loved one is soul destroying.
