Story
UPDATE - OK people, the great day dawned - perfect running weather, and me and 16,999 other women converged on Hyde Park, and I tell you, if you haven't been one of 17,000 warming up to Sister Sledge, you haven't lived. I did the race - ran very step (you'll have to take my word for that), and all in all it was one of the best things I've done in an age. So for all of you out there contemplating something like this, do it - it was great. And for all of you who donated, thank you, very very much indeed.
Have updated page with some pix of the day.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am really touched by the number of people giving me their support, and by how generous you're all being. I promise to update the page to prove I'm working for it (practise run in the evening drizzle, anyone?), and if I'm feeling clever, I'll try to put a video on here as well.
Anyway, do keep it coming. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I'm running to celebrate the fact that a year ago my foot looked like this, and now it doesn't, and to help those whose problems are more complicated, and take more time, and a lot more money, to sort out. My charity is Facing The World. Take a look at what they do: http://www.facingtheworld.co.uk/
And now please dig deep, and donate!
Thank you!
