Thank you for agreeing to sponsor me in the London Marathon. I was inspired to take up the challenge this year in order to raise money to help support children and families affected by metabolic diseases. In September 2007 my best friend Lucy's older sister Emma gave birth to a wonderful little girl called Eleanor. Eleanor suffers from MMA (methylmalonic acidemia) which means she can’t digest protein properly. This is a rare, inherited disorder with no cure. The charity CLIMB fund reasearch and provide much needed support to the children and familes affected. Donating through this site is the best way to sponsor me. Climb will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support. Tracy P.S. If you are going to be out on the course cheering on the day then let me know so I can be sure to have a smile and a wave at the ready...
