Hi guys,

Many thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Barely are my legs recovered from the 26.2 miles of hard labour in the London Marathon where I achieved a respectable time of 4:07 when I find myself looking down the barrel of 420kms cycling along Brazil's Costa Verde coast in the capital city of Rio de Janeiro.

Note to self... must get full time job or have more children!!

Contrary to the popular belief of "what an amazing holiday..." it will be a tough cycle ride with "undulating terrain" - no lounging around on beaches!!  (well, maybe just a bit at the end of the ride..)

Funds raised by The Brazil Bike Ride will support the work of REGAIN, the only charitable organisation dedicated solely to improving the independence of people who have become tetraplegic as a result of a sporting accident.

Shockingly there is someone in nearly every town in Britain who has broken their back while taking part in sporting activities.  REGAIN provides support by purchasing equipment to help people paralysed in this way to lead more independent lives.
