About the charity : Rwandan Youth Information Community Organisation
rYico is a charity founded in response to the needs of vulnerable young people in Rwanda. rYico has set up Centre Marembo, a training and resource centre that supports the personal development, education and training of young people including those that have been orphaned, neglected or left vulnerable as a result of the 1994 genocide. rYico also aims to increase social and cultural understanding about Rwanda within and between the UK and Rwanda though cultural exchange and education.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Although we have achieved our target Centre Marembo still needs the funds to secure its future and give the youth in Kigali at better life.

Between January and June 2007 we will be working at Centre Marembo with rYico in Rwanda's capital city Kigali.  We will be developing and delivering training programmes for the centre's volunteers, working directly with the centre's childen and initiating sustainable income generating projects.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us. All donations will go directly to the Centre Marembo/rYico. They will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
