Story

Dear Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit our lovely JustGiving page.

The event we will be doing is the Gore-Tex Transalpine run which takes place from Saturday 5th September 2009.

Alongside hundreds of other like-minded nutters (er, sorry I mean runners) we begin our journey in Obersdorf in Germany, run into the Austrian then Swiss Alps, ending up if all goes to plan 8-days later in Latsch, Italy.  Tired, but extremely happy and in one piece we are hoping!  To place it in perspective, we will cover no less than 240km on foot with 15,057 metres of ascent for good measure.

For more details visit:

We will be racing in the Mixed Pair category (for reasons that should be fairly obvious...) as Team TPC Freight Management - our wonderful main sponsors.

We should also thank NUUN and HELLY HANSEN for their continued support.  Providing us with optimal hydration and race kit respectively.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep if you feel able to and donate now to the wonderful cause that is the Fiona Dolan Fund.

Thank you for your time,

Casey and Iona
