Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Mount Kenya is a symbol of Africa. The continent's second highest mountain, straddling the Equator.

Its forests are not only home to amazing wildlife species such as elephant, leopard, buffalo and colobus monkey but are a precious water catchment area which supplies the great city of Nairobi nearly 100 miles to the south.

The thought of Mountain-Biking down - from 10,000 feet to 4,000 feet - in a few frantic hours fills me with dread. It's a 60 km route and I am not much good on a bike!

But I know that, hopefully, it will raise lots of sponsorship support for Born Free and our work in Kenya and across Africa to conserve species, protect the environment and help local communities. Will you sponsor me? Anything and everything will be much appreciated! I've set myself a target of £5,000 so how about 50p a kilometre... or maybe you would like to join me and hurtle down the mountain from the open moor land at the start, through the dense canopy forest to the dry, savannah foothills and the finishing line? Please visit www.bornfree.org.uk for more informatioon. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Born Free Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. Will
