Trek Borneo 2008 · 26 October 2007

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

In September 2008, our 4 intrepid explorers will be braving the wilds of Borneo to trek, cycle and raft to raise a minimum £12,000 for the British Heart Foundation. The Trek is in memory of Sarah's Dad John, who died suddenly in September 2007. We wanted something positive to come from this sad event and raising money for charity in John's memory seemed the perfect way to do it.

Over the course of our challenge we will climb Mount Kinabalu (13,000+ ft), cycle 170km across the Crocker Range Mountains and raft the rapids of the Padas river. All this without the aid of Facebook or hair straighteners - how will we cope???

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: British Heart Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
