Who are we?

Two people determined to make a difference and to do something crazy before the old bones give in.

A 12 day gruelling trek in Namibia through some of the hottest and most untouched parts of the world, including Fish Canyon: the world's second largest canyon, the Nakluft Mountains and the Namib and Kalahari desert, where they have the highest sand dunes in the world.

We will cover about a serious amount of mileage from North to South Namibia.

Why are we doing it?

We are undertaking this HUGE challenge for the SOS Children's charity, which supports children without parents (AIDS orphans, child soldiers, children orphaned by poverty) all over the world.

We aim to raise £6,000. Any money now raised will go directly to SOS Chilren's Charity. Our organisation of the trek by ourselves is more economical than most pre-organised charitable trekking expeditions, and ensures that more of the money raised actually goes to SOS Children.

And finally, why should you support us??

It's going to be hot. It will be painful. We will smell.  We may never speak to each other again.  We may also just kill each other.

The possibilities are endless, and should demonstrate to you how much of a personal challenge for each of us this will be.  But we reckon its worth it if it helps us save the life of even 1 child.
