We fund pioneering research to prevent sight loss and treat eye disease

Story

In April 2012 a team of 10 intrepid middle aged men are walking Hadrian's Wall and as they begin their walk Dev Malhotra will be running the Brighton marathon.

Why you may ask?  Kevin's son, Joe Pepper, has a condition called choroideremia which is a rare inherited eye disorder that causes progressive sight loss.  We're raising money to help fund researchers at Imperial College London who are investigating potential treatments for choroideremia.  You can find out more about Joe's condition and about the team doing the Hadrian's Wall walk at www.trekforjoe.blogspot.com.

If you want to sponsor Darren, JP or Phil they've got their own fundraising pages (Darren and JP’s employers may be able to match some of their donations).  Click on the “Trek for Joe” fundraising team link below and you can donate in their name or click on Darren, JP or Phil.

An easy way to donate is via text.  Just text JOEP90 followed by the amount i.e. £10 to 70070.
