On the 27th of August Insha’Allah, I will be climbing Ben Nevis as part of the Walk for Water campaign with Penny Appeal. The mountain is 4,411 ft and the average adult is 5,6 ft… So you can imagine how high the mountain is. I have never done anything like this before and was nervous taking the challenge on but I have now signed up and Insha’Allah with the help of Allah (swt) I am hoping to beat my target.

The funds that will be raised will be put towards building water wells in the third world countries. Together with Allah (swt) help we can Insha’Allah bring clean water for the less fortunate. However long the wells will be supplying water for it will count as Sadaqah Jariyah for you.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) said, “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Muslim, Tirmidhi).
