From the 21st April to 1st May 2007, I will be doing a sponsored Trek to the Himalayas to raise money for the National Autistic Society. The cause is close to my heart as I currently voluntarily befriend an 8 year-old on the Autistic spectrum. I will be trekking to heights
of 3500m and will be covering a distance of approx 55km
over 5 days. Any sponsorship would be great - as little/much as people can afford.
Re-cartridge; Art of Cards; Bargain Booze; Victoria Cabs; Poppadoms ;Yan hair salon; Morelli's Barbers shop and Fingerprints delicafe on Queen's Road, Leicester have already been kind enough to offer me support - please thank them by visiting their stores

I'd also like to thank the Leicester Mercury for doing an article on my trek. To read it please visit:

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Autistic Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
The money I raise will go toward much needed causes.
£15 could help pay for a helpline counsellor to send information on autism to support 5 families
£25 would pay the first stages of training a befriender (of which I am one
), who can help support families affected by autism£50 would give 10 people access to the NAS telephone helpline
£100 could help pay for a full diagnosis of a child at our assessment centre
So please sponsor me now! Please give what you can, because every bit helps
Many thanks for your support.
