Well, I did it!
You still have time to sponsor me and help with my fundraising!
On Friday 28th August my MDS buddy Jamie Anderson, and I, took on The 2009 North Face Ultra-Trail Du Mont-Blanc.
A single stage extreme mountain ultramarathon running race of 103miles(166km) around the Mont Blanc massif passing through France, Italy and Switzerland with an elevation of over 9400m.
Despite having to qualify for entry almost 50% of starters don't finish due to the strictly enforced cut off times at each checkpoint.
The route basically follows the Tour Du Mont Blanc hiking path that is usually completed in 7 to 9 days - we've got 46hours!!
Understandably - many believe that this is the most difficult foot race in Europe.
I am raising money for Wishing Well House www.wishingwellhouse.co.uk in order to help them achieve their ultimate goal of one to one education for children with autism. Please donate any monies you can to a truly fantastic cause that I am very passionate about and have been involved with for some time now.
