Its that time of year again where we are doing ridiculous things to help raise money for the school. 

For any of you who don't know.  We do these "Rag week" events to offset the cost of each students time spent at the school.  Simply put, the school charges less than it actually costs for students to come to Nexus, but we make up for that with private donations and events like this. 

More importantly, its just a time for the whole college to connect and work towards something together, its a time of year where relationships are strenghtened and new ones are formed.  The money raised is the smaller issue in the long run, but it certainly helps us keep the school open. 

Here are some of the events happening during Rag Week:

72 Hour Drumathon (our record was broken and so its time to get it back!)

100 Mile walk (three teams of students race to see how fast they can get back to Coventry when they are 100 miles away)

5 countries in 6 days: 
(cycling through Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, and the UK)

Tour de Churches (students cycle to different churches and perform the same night)

Nexus Musical (a group of musicians/actors/writers hash out a musical in a week, to be performed on the Friday of Rag Week)
