Story

Dear Friends

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. WONDERFUL RIDE ON A WONDERFUL DAY WITH WONDERFUL PEOPLE. I AM FULL OF WONDER. THANKS A BUNCHETTE TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME TO SMASH MY SPONSORSHIP TARGET. SITE STILL OPEN FOR DONATIONS - EVERY £100 IS ANOTHER BICYCLE FOR THE BODS IN BURKINO.............

Trevor :-)

On Saturday 19th June 2010 I will be cycling 87 miles (100miles door2door) round the Avon Cycleway in aid of TREE AID. Please sponsor me! I feel really passionate about Tree Aid as they seem to address key things 1) balancing our carbon consumption through arboriculture and 2) building resilience in communities through sustainable local enterprise. I have met people that run the charity and they have their heads and hearts well screwed on.

This is a stunning ride anti-clockwise around the circular Avon Cycleway that takes in the beauty of the Cotswolds, breathtaking views over the Avon Gorge and Severn Estuary, as well as the essential Chew Valley Lake cafe. The ride is hilly in places and follows mainly quiet country lanes and designated cycle paths.

This will be my third attempt and it is a hell of a long way but with a natural high at the end.

Kind regards

Trevor
